I had a great experience at Kimbop! From the friendly and hardworking staff, to the atmosphere inside, all down to the food itself! It was all absolutely amazing! I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for your new favorite sushi spot. Don't forget to try the fried chicken too!! Chef's kiss!

The wings were crispy and coated in a sweet and spicy glaze, offering a balance of heat and sweetness. Each piece of sushi had a satisfying amount of fish. I hate when places skimp on the seafood. Will definitely be a return customer.

Entering the restaurant was amazing, my family and I were greeted kindly by their service, we were seated quickly. Inside the restaurant itself is decorated in a modern contemporary, Korean style. That made the food more enjoyable. I had shared the chicken and sushi with my family, it was amazing. So good I would get a whole bucket of both servings. I highly recommend people to visit this place with friends and family, In small groups.

First time at this family-owned Korean restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was very eager to please and was willing to change, or substitute ingredients, as needed. The prices were very reasonable. I had the Sesame coated balls filled with red bean paste. The best I’ve had!

Update october 2024: IT IS STILL AMAZING!!! come to this place! i have been to others around and none like it! Unfortunately no more korean tacos but still everything else is delish! I have been here before. It is under new management and it is good! Their food is delicious! Today I had the korean tacos (slightly fried corn tortilla which is how the tortillas in mexico are for tacos), bulgogi bowl (has white rice and lettuce with whatever sauce you ask for), chicken ramen with chicken soup base. The atmosphere is cozy and modern. Best Korean restaurant I have been at many. Food is made fresh! The time before this that we came to eat we ordered the bulgogi ramen and shrimp tempura ramen. Spicy soup base. Was so delicious!!!! Definitely coming back!

Good sushi first time ever I will be. Back omg Had crab feast loved it and tuna and Kimbop chicken veggie fried rice delicious will be back when around here Everything is fresh and made to order love it

Second time I eat the Crab Rangoon!!!!! It was so good that I didn’t share with my coworkers!!! If they only knew how delicious it was😅 They also have fried chicken strips!!! What makes the whole experience so unique is that they have their own home made sauces!! A huge variety of them to pick from so you can dunk that chicken and have your mouth full of happiness!!!!! The employees and managers working there are very accommodating I will definitely go back and recommend this hidden gem to my friends and family!!!!

Ate here today on a holiday, July 4. Victor and Don were the two individuals working. We were greeted friendly. We ordered family style, sharing two kimbop, beef bulgogi, ddeokboki, and steamed rice. Everything was served in good time and delicious. Best bulgogi we’ve had in the area!

What a delicious lunch my friend and I had! We both tried the sweet and spicy chicken bowl and assorted Asian drinks. Beautiful presentation! Service was great! Small, but very nice decor and very clean. Fair prices. If I lived closer, I would order often. Located in a strip mall with easy parking.

Finally got to try this new restaurant last night!! Some of the items we ordered include Bulgogi Kimbop, Ddukboki, Chicken Katsu, Bibimbop, and Octopus nigiri. My family and I enjoyed everything, with Bulgogi Kimbop being the favorite of all. Aside from enjoying their foods, we were very touched by how kind and accommodating the workers were since we have been taking the Covid precautions very seriously. This will be our go to place not only because of the yummy foods but also because the staff members are so very nice!!

We tried this place for the first time tonight. We couldn't have been happier. Great food (try the bulgogi kimbop) and very fast and friendly service. We will definitely order again!

Great new spot for Korean food and sushi! So happy they opened, as there aren't many options for this type of food here in Wheeling. So far I've tried their sushi and Korean chicken wings, and I was definitely not disappointed! I'm excited to try more things on their menu!

Yummy food!! I ordered a variety of foods to try but you have to try out the chicken wings for sure! Their soups are also very good for cold nights and the sushi is very good. They have very good sauce on the sushi! One thing about sushi is you have to have the right rice and sauce; I believe they nailed both!!
